The 25th of September 2018 marked the first birthday of Fitness4Less Worcester. The gym has now been officially open for a year, which is definitely a cause for celebration!

There may only be one candle on Fitness4Less Worcester's birthday cake but what a magnificent baby this is! The club has grown from a mere twinkle in the architect's eye, to a busy building site in the midst of the city's massive Cathedral Square regeneration, to the cool, modern and stylish place in which to work out and chill out that it is today with fantastic equipment and facilities and a thriving membership.

To mark the club's first anniversary, the club's management is organising a party with an "Oscars" theme, which will be hosted upstairs at the local Cosy Club at 6 Cathedral Square on 12th October 2018 from 7pm, and we would request that guests arrive before 8pm. There will be exciting raffle prizes to be won and everyone will receive a welcoming drink on arrival.

In accordance with the theme of the evening, the party will include a ceremony in which a selection of awards will be presented to those people that club members have decided are most deserving of the following titles: -

• Instructor of the Year
• Staff member of the Year
• Members' Choice Champion Member
• Chattiest Member of the Year

Bernie Laskie, who won the Fitness4Less Worcester Member of the Year award in May, and all the runners up shortlisted in that contest, will receive a free VIP ticket to the party, in recognition of their achievements.

Tickets, which will cost £5.00 each, can be purchased in advance at Reception and numbers are limited, so make sure you book early to secure your place. On buying your ticket, you will be asked to complete a nomination form for the above awards. Members can nominate contenders for as many of these categories as they like.
